It's been a busy week. I have struggled with what to write about and decided to just write a letter. I always enjoy Lori's.
Monday evening we all went to Mark's. Randy helped load the pig into a cage that Mark had made on the flatbed trailer. The process went well and the pig was loaded in less than 15 minutes. Mark and Rachel brought the children over later that night for a sleep over. It was amusing to watch Grant play. He likes to tow different things with the toy trucks. During this visit he put together the truck and flatbed trailer, placed a toy cow on it and said, "He going to be meat"
Monday was Grandad's birthday. I made Pork roast, mashed potatoes, red cabbage, salad and danish applecake. Cami definitely has Danish taste buds. She loved the red cabbage.
Wednesday Morgan graduated from Buena High School. Gramma, Papa, Grandma Winsor and Grandpa Bob came for the event. Tonight Morgan and a few friends are celebrating with a BBQ.
I love Randy's new job! He is so much happier. He is currently enjoying a first ever four day weekend. Working only forty hours a week he is able to spent time in the garden. We should have a wonderful garden this year. Plus, I just love having him home more often!
Earlier this month we went to Tucson for Bethany's graduation. She received a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education from the University of Arizona. Both sets of Grandparents attended. We are very proud of her accomplishments.
Yesterday was my last day of work for the school year. I am looking forward to CLEANING, sewing, reading and finally scrapbooking my copy of the family cookbook. The highlight of the summer will be a trip to Utah and visiting with Alison.
To quote Lori, "Thanks for reading"

Still experimenting
Still trying to figure thing out. Just ignore my efforts. Or laugh, although I'm trying not to cry :(
My grapefruit tree after the February freeze.
HELP!
I have been trying all weekend to post pictures of Bethany's graduation. Not sure what is going wrong. They neither publish nor save. So I am just writing a few words to see if they will publish. Perhaps when Rachel visits this week she will check my settings to see if I'll messed them up somehow. I'm about to press publish post wish me luck!

Morgan and the Prom Dress
Morgan was invited to an LDS Prom in Tucson. She asked if I would make her a dress. She chose a pattern and then decided that she didn't like the neckline. In March, while in Phoenix visiting Grandma we went fabric and pattern shopping. (Those of you reading this probably don't know that the only place in Sierra Vista to purchase dress fabric is Wal-Mart.) Morgan chose another pattern with a neckline she liked. We also purchased fabric to make a test dress. I made a dress from the new pattern to assure that she really liked this style and to verify her size. We haven't made her a dress before. This dress challenged my sewing skills. It has an invisible side seam zipper. It took me seven tries before the zipper was in to my satisfaction :(
She loved the neck, but wanted a long dress. She also needed a smaller size. She will have to grow into the orange dress.
The next Saturday immediately following the afternoon session of General Conference, Randy, Morgan and I headed to Tucson in search of fabric. Bethany met us at Jo-Ann's Fabric. Morgan chose a bold blue butterfly print! I combined the two patterns. Started sewing. This time I got the zipper in on the first try. She loves the dress!
Morgan did her own hair.

Blog cravings
I love reading family blogs. I regret that I have not been keeping up on my blog. Last year I read Sink reflections by Marla Cilley, one of her philosophies is You are not behind, Jump in where you are. With that in mind I will JUMP back into posting my activities and thoughts. (plus I'm probably procrastinating working on Morgan's prom dress - it terrifies me.)
Last week I was craving Green chili chicken enchiladas. Realizing that I didn't have any corn tortillas, but did have Masa Harina I grabbed a Sous Chef and together we made fresh corn tortillas. The dough was warm and pliable, similar to play dough. Together we rolled and pressed.
I cooked.
My craving was satisfied! Yum!!

I just got back from a wonderful visit with Mom. Last night she brought out some old photos that I had asked about at my last visit. She also has a box of photos and documents that Larry has left with her to look at and copy. True family treasures. This morning we discovered a photograph that has to be 100 years old. It is of Grandpa T and some of his siblings. When mom turned the photo over the names of the children were on the back! Kyle looks like his great grandpa T. She also discovered a picture that we had discussed the night before that was in a photo album. The photo was of Anna and Regina along with along with there three sisters, but we didn't know who the sisters were. The photo found this morning has names on the back! I had asked Mother about some photos of Dad. I always thought that Mark looked like a Maroney, but take a look at this:

I enjoyed my weekend and am anxious to visit again and copy more pictures.
